Abigail has mastered the art of sitting. Now her introductory baby mobility skills are complete... crawling, sitting and pulling herself up. Next comes cruising. she is already working on that. She has begun to move her hands to different grip spots while standing. Hopefully it will be a while, but we fear not.
Eloise enjoyed decorating her room. She has clouds and stars and a rainbow on the wall now.
We have been introducing finger foods, and they are a hit. Abby loves having a few Cheerios on her tray during meals. They go in and out of her mouth a few times, but she does eventually chew a few of them. Most accumulate on her tummy.
When we are at the zoo, Eloise likes to check every telescope we come across. She can spend a while looking through them, even though the view is blank since Mommy didn't put any money in them.
We took Eloise's friend Anna with us to the zoo. The girls had a great time together, in spite of their differnt zoo visit goals. Anna had a list of animals she wanted to see. Eloise had a list of playgrounds she wanted to visit.
And the get along famously. Hurray! we have two girls that don't mind sand on their fingers and waves on their toes. Abby had a great time playing in the sand, and laughed when we let the waves run over her toes. She loved crawling where it was damp.
While Abby crawled, Eloise was busy transporting water from the ocean up to her patch of dry sand. This kept her busy for a couple hours. We did start to make a bit of a castle, but everytime we got a respectable mound, a monster came and rolled all over the castle. On the way home Eloise gave me a list of all the places on her body where there was sand.
Eloise is back to pre-school, and happy to be there. This is one last visit to the courtyard toys before leaving on her first day.
Here's our wild child, ready to take on the world
Abby loves finger foods and she loves weilding a spoon. When we feed her, she gets a spoon and the parent gets a spoon.
Every now and then, Eloise loves to decorate her hair. It's all her own work now
